SKIN NEEDLING/DERMAROLLER
Skin needling provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.
Skin needling is a natural skin regeneration and Scar Repair Therapy also used in the process of stretch mark removal.
Skin needling can significantly improve the appearance of:
-
Facial and decolletage lines and wrinkles
-
Stretch marks
-
Aged and sun damages skin
-
Scars (including acne)
-
Rejuvenation of hands
ADVANTAGES INCLUDE:
-
To reduce fine lines and wrinkles on the face and decolletage
-
Rejuvenate hands and minimise signs of ageing
-
Revitalise aged and sun-damaged skin
-
Reduces acne scarring
-
The removal of stretch marks
-
Skin needling utilises sterile single-use medical devices. Your Nurse/ Aesthetic Practitioner will use a Dermaroller medical device to produce thousands of micro-medical needle-columns in the skin. Each column will penetrate into the dermis of the skin and will be approximately 0.1mm in width. The column will close rapidly enabling the skin to recover quickly - often in the same day.
-
After the procedure your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced. It can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement.
BENEFITS INCLUDE:
-
Skin needling reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks and sun damage
-
Tightens pores which become larger as we age

-
Aggressive Skin Care Products should be avoided until the redness has subsided and it is recommended that makeup is not applied for 24 hours after the procedure.
-
Avoid sauna’s, exercise, hot baths/showers until the redness has gone (this is usually within 24 hours minimum)
-
Avoid intensive sunlight exposure and artificial UV exposure for a period of atleast 2-3 weeks after the procedure.
-
Fake tan should not be applied 10-14 days prior, and 7 days following a Dermaroller treatment

ABOUT SKIN PEELS
Skin Peels work by removing dead skin cells and encouraging new ones to grow, leading to a fresher, more glowing you. A chemical formula is applied to the skin that removes the top layer of skin and reveals the softer, smoother skin beneath.
The procedure is used all over the world to treat skin problems such as wrinkles and lines, acne scars, hyper-pigmentation, and sun damage - the results can be life-transforming!
WHICH SKIN PEEL IS RIGHT FOR ME?
We offer a range of skin peels that vary in strength and our team of experienced doctors and nurses can tailor a skin peel specifically to your skin type, condition and tone.
JESSNER PEEL
A Jessner's Peel is a light skin peel that uses a combination of ingredients to smooth and rejuvenate skin. A Jessner's Peel is a chemical peel that's excellent for all skin types. It's effective in treating mild to severe acne, discolouration, moderate wrinkling and sun damage.
MANDELIC PEEL
A Mandelic Peel is recommended for sensitive skin rejuvenation and darker skin tones. This type of skin peel smoothes and softens the skin, diminishes fine lines, reduces acne outbreaks and evens out discolouration.
GLYCOLIC PEEL
This type of skin peel penetrates deep beneath the surface of the skin, exfoliating dead skin cells while stimulating cell regeneration and collagen production. A Glycolic Peel skin peel is effective for treating sun spots, acne scars, blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles. The 30% glycolic peel requires preparation prior to treatment - using a peel gel for one week at home, which will enhance the results.
PYRUVIC PEEL
Suitable for those who feel their skin is ageing, or prone to outbreaks, a Pyruvic peel contains a natural occurring acid that penetrates deep into the skin. The peel stimulates collagen and elastin production, as well as gently exfoliating the skin to make it appear tighter and clearer.
INNERPEEL
Innerpeels are great if you're looking for a deeper peel to treat issues such as pigmentation and acne and increase the level of collagen in your skin. Innerpeels allow the acid to start work only once it's been absorbed into the skin so surface effects such as peeling and redness are reduced compared to other peels.
TCA PEEL
A TCA Peel is a skin peel that successfully treats sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and acne scarring. This type of skin peel sloughs off the upper layers of the skin eliminating superficial wrinkles, smoothing rough patches and removing spots and pigmentation.
HOW DOES A CHEMICAL PEEL WORK?
All peels work by gently rubbing the skin with a non-toxic chemical solution to remove the unwanted top layer. This encourages collagen production and cell renewal, to reveal an age-defying healthier, younger-looking you.
Treatment is pain-free, though some peels can lead to light swelling of the affected area or peeling of the skin for a few days after the procedure. A trained expert can give you the advice you need on the right type of peel for you, devising a tailored treatment plan to achieve optimum results.
WHAT RESULTS SHOULD I EXPECT?
-
Reduced blotchy patches that make the complexion dull and discoloured
-
Elimination of sun damage including fine lines, wrinkles and spots
-
Improvement in acne, reduced inflammation and scarring
-
Reduced pigmentation and evens out skin tone
-
Stimulated collagen production for plumper, softer skin

To achieve maximum results, our skin experts will recommend a course of between 2-4 chemical peel treatments depending on your skin type, tone and condition.

WHAT IS DERMAPLANING?
Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel to remove the upper layers of the skin to reveal a smoother and brighter complexion. The scalpel finely exfoliates dead skin cells whilst also removing the fine superficial vellus hair from the face, commonly known as "peach fuzz." The treatment will produce a brighter and more youthful glow to the client's skin, as well as allowing skincare products to be absorbed more easily. Clients also find that their makeup sits more smoothly on their skin following the removal of "peach fuzz".
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THIS TREATMENT?
The treatment involves using a surgical scalpel to finely exfoliate the top layers of skin (keratinized cells). The treatment is performed on freshly cleansed and dry skin. The scalpel is then positioned at a precise angle and the skin is pulled taut to avoid the scalpel pulling and damaging the skin. The scalpel is then lightly moved across the face, avoiding the nose area, working in sections to reveal a more youthful complexion.
